These two appeared in Steeple (original series) 4-5 and The Silvery Moon (here) and they always “spell” trouble. Alas, I think we will see them again before too long.

Steeple may be the only comic currently being published where the author thinks carefully about when the characters will need to eat lunch. In fantasy books, quests would often stop for a repast. In the easy-come, easy-go world of free-to-air webcomics, there’s time for these considerations.

Goonhilly is a real place, you used to be able to visit Goonhilly Earth Station but sadly, that’s no longer possible as I think a UAP/UFO was downed there and they’re busy repurposing it into a replacement for Freddie Laker’s Skytrain.
I have nothing to add about the Morphulators but back in the day I think we all knew a few.
I hear that the roundabout at Chiverton Cross is under major redevelopment, everything is going to change on the A30, this time they’ll get it right.
