Billie is good at coordinating outfits to have that effect. For me, nothing beats the moment of when she removed the yellow raincoat and Lottie almost panicked of amazement.
The internet seems to think that “heist” can be used as a verb, as well as a noun. That’s just so wrong, even if it is factually correct. Were Americans involved in this travesty?
and Sean K, there could only ever be one Italian Job (I do realise that there was a production of “Ocean’s 8” that ended up being released erroneously under the same title). I also note that the Italian Job is classified as a caper, rather than a heist. Being afraid of capers would be much less notable (and more prone to misinterpretation).
In English, any noun can be verbed, any verb nouned.
And, every perceived overseas violation of The Queen’s English originated in England proper, and just fell out of fashion there. So, complaints about them are really only about not keeping up with London fashion.
Always beautiful to see Billie and Maggie together. Maggie is so full of energy ♡ so positive! Together they will find a way for help Brian eat better. Maybe.
I have to admit, I was impressed by the sheer fourth-wall-breaking chutzpah it took for them to go, “Hey, Julia Roberts’ character looks a lot like Julia Roberts. We should have her pretend to be Julia Roberts, because everyone knows A-list celebrities can do whatever they want.”
Maggie’s smiles make my heart glow. Thanks Mr. A for creating, sharing and infusing with joy and wonder these great characters. More power to yer elbow.
It occurs to me that Maggie should have her hair tied back much more than it is, or have it covered, if she wants to avoid getting paint in it. Then again, maybe this is about as much as her hair can be tamed.
And don’t tell her about The Italian Job (either of them).
I just hope Maggie remembers to just blow the bloody doors off.
There WAS ONLY ONE Italian Job, do you hear?
ONLY ONE
NOBODY MENTIONS THE SECOND!!!!
Maggie: Queen of the onesy.
I dunno… I think she’s got some real competition in Mildew.
I enjoy how the addition of a demure sweater totally transforms the BCJ’s vibe.

I feel confident that Maggie would 100% be down for a good heist regardless of details.
One has to wonder if that jumper makes Billie’s back itch.

Indeed, the 1969 movie with Michael Cain should never be remade. Unless they do.
Can’t something be both a caper AND a heist? Are they mutually exclusive?
There was the Great Caper Heist of 1868 that led to the Cacciatore Shortage of 1868-1870. The culprits never caught and the capers never found.

My perception is that Brian likes how he eats already.
In the case of Ocean’s 12, Maggie’s not wrong.

Pink – an excellent colour for a seaside house.
Here I thought she was painting it gray, but the brush gives it away.
(P.S. “Don’t tit about on ladders!”)
Yes, you see, I would usually paint a house from the top down but Maggie is working bottom up.
Having painted a few houses, I usually work horizontally rather than vertically. It saves moving ladders and stuff.
Lottie isn’t afraid of heists.
It’s so good to see Billie and Maggie interacting with each other again. One of the many things I’ve been missing about Steeple.

She has it tied back about as much as she did when she was gardening. I think that’s probably about as much as she can do with it. https://steeple.church/comic/thick-as-a-babys-arm/
