Sex and the pub
Who is this wan figure? And should Maggie really have assumed the identity of her friend? I’m sure there will be absolutely no consequences so fear not.

Happily, I am completely without fear for my soul—sucks to be you, wan figure.
“I’m sure there will be absolutely no consequences so fear not.” This sounds suspiciously like “it will be over by april!” and just as reassuring.
Assuming the identity of a friend never creates problems.
Me: Someone came by with a letter for you so I signed for it.
Friend, opens the envelope: The Black Spot! [Flees to the ends of the earth never to be seen again]
Me: Wow, over reaction much?
I enjoyed reading the newsletter that brought me the link to today’s installation so much, that I copy/pasted it to a friend across the ocean who is not yet familiar with your work, but who I thought should be. I figured he would enjoy the text as well. Thank you.
I enjoyed the newsletter so much, i nearly forgot to click the link to the comic!
John, my phone constantly displays this eye symbol (see link below). Previously I thought it was just helping me avoid eye strain and over-exposure to blue light wavelengths when I’m trying to wind down in the evening, but its striking similarity to Maggie’s tattoos now has me worried that there is something more sinister going on. Any (non-blue) light you could shed would be much appreciated – or – or – are you part of it?!

All I can say with any degree of certainty is that Maggie is “easy on the eye” as they say, much like your phone screen in night mode. But there is a slight chance that your phone is in the service of Belial.
“My eyes are up here.”
“I was checking out your other eye.”
Sex and the pub huh?
I wonder if they have that as a cologne for men.
Ah, so now that they are seen from the front, it is definitely the same person Billie greeted from her bike. Had been wondering about that since I was pretty sure that they had the same haircut, bag and clothes.
Oh arr, she’m a bit of a goer oiright
The eye, the Eye of Horus, The Eye in the Triangle, Eye see you…the eyes that never sleep. The eye tattoo she has partly takes away from her face and her cleavage for a moment.
“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the evil and the good.” Proverbs 15: 3
Which reminds me of Chula-Varuna, an early if not the first Hindu god who ruled this planet for awhile till he/she/it was overthrown and cast into the oceans to be trapped there. Besides his 6-eyes on his head, he had a million or more floating eyes that see you and judge you. Fortunately only Varuna can activate the boom/smite function. He is the ultimate judge of everyone.
And might have influenced Lovecraft’s conception of Cthulhu creation.
If our eyes are the “windows to the soul” we sure can’t see it or utilize it the way shamans and wizards do.
Keep your eyes pealed and sleep with one eye open…
