SECRET SENTAI CONCLUDES!
Maggie’s really teased up that quiff for a special occasion. It probably creates its own gravity. That’s the end of Secret Sentai, thanks for reading. Steeple will take a short break, a new story will start on Nov 9th.

They have the attention of the Gremlin in the first 2 panels.
He’s also in the last panel standing right behind the chair.
I think we might be seeing his shoulder in panels 4 and 5, too.
Definitely him right behind in the last panel as well.
I’d say he’s in all panels. Panel 3: I think those are his pants behind Maggie.
Is it him in the last panel from May 6?

He’s also got the Innsmouth look, so hello new adventures in weirdness.
Something is indeed fishy.
McGraw’s really let himself go.
I was going to say, that looks oddly like McGraw.
Called it. Or, I guess, Tom called it, and I understood what he was saying.
What a terrific story. So complex, exciting, and entertaining. Beautifully written, and rendered with immaculate attention to detail. John Allison, my hat is off to you. Thank you for Secret Sentai.
Seconded!
Families are not the best. Poor Billie. But even with all her prejudices, Mrs. Clovis can become like a new mother for you♡♡.
I wish we could have seen the frame of Maggie taking her sweater (jumper) and scarf (snood) off over her fluffy (teased) hair. It would be breathtaking.
I think she’s wearing a zipper-front vest or waistcoat under her jacket, not a jumper. Note the vertical line down the front.
OTOH, in the next panel it does look like the waistband is some knit material. Only John A. knows.
It’s a sweater, like all Cornishwomen (and men) she has an array of chunky knits on the go
At this point, I’m not sure to which fictional (but somehow realistically displayed) person I am more attracted to, the maybe trying to be better Maggie (though I’ve dated a Maggie in the past to no great outcome), or the maybe bad, but probably not on purpose Billie? Stupid imperfect vision is something to which I am (evolutionarily should not be) inclined.
Also as a trying to be reformed villain.
Maggie’s hair is truly a work of art here.
The Sesh Gremlin in panel two is staring into my soul.
Nice ending with the Gremlin just LOOMING over them. Should have listened to Tom’s story.
Thank you for Secret Sentai! It was a wild Tully monster ride.
I love that ham extra with the mustache, who is checking out Maggie.
THAT’S THE SESH GREMLIN!

Secret Sentai has taken off with the Tully Monster and the secrets, too. Sigh.
All, well, ’twas great fun! Looking forward to what’s next. 🙂
(I second the kudos on your artwork, Jon. Just fantastic!)
This comic has made me realize what a weird word “whoring” is.
John, you have an amazing talent for creating characters, having them come across as fully-formed, real people, and making us care about them. And all six of the major Steeple characters are among your finest creations.
a lovely tale, thanks
