My Dad never let his hair grow that long (beard? yeah.) but other than that you’ve captured my Dad’s shape perfectly.

I’m with Maggie, those Swedish flag colored underpants are even more frightening than his demonic eyes.

Maggie’s phew and subsequent explanation is one of the more universal moments in the John Allison oeuvre. It hearkens to feelings I have had when my courage was gladly not tested.
I never noticed the “Scheduled Comics” list before. This strongly suggests that you do not simply make up each comic “on the fly,” but that you know exactly where this is going and have ever since the beginning! Either that, or you write the titles of all the comics well in advance and then have to write/draw something to match.
There is some method to my madness, yes!
