CHRISTMAS WITH CLOVIS CONCLUDES!
With that, this run of Steeple is over. There will be some new, non-Steeple comics in the new year, but this series should return in 2021 (should I survive to make it, it all hinges on my survival). Stay tuned for news in the meantime. A very happy Christmas to you!
If they don’t go on some kinda fun and heartfelt adventure/scheme to get Billy rent money, I’ll be physically and emotionally drained.
I have a strong roadmap for where this money will be earned. Stay tuned.
Thank you very much for the comics. Steeple has, so far, been amazing. I hope you (and all of us) have a wonderful Christmas, and a (much) better year next year.
Thanks Alaric!
Merry Christmas, John. Thanks for the comics. One of the few bright spots in 2020!
Merry Christmas John, thanks again for all the good work.
Huh. Is it possible that the Church of Satan is, in fact, EVIL???
And here’s to hoping you survive into 2021. (It’s gotta be better than 2020, right? R-right?)
You’d think folks would be a bit more circumspect about buying into a sales pitch from the Prince of Lies…
In all fairness, the sales pitch was from Tom, who isn’t even, like, the Court Jester of Lies. Satan in his one appearance in the comic so far (Steeple #5, available on Comixology) just straight out told Billie she was his, and had always been his.
Also, I echo everyone else’s thanks and best wishes to The Englishman for more than twenty years of spreading joy in the world through his comics!
Merry Christmas and happy new year! Thank you for this beautiful comic ♡. Now I’m really worried for poor, naive Billie. She need money, not drinks. For all the work she is doing in the Church of Satan, she deserves a pay cheque and more. But Tom can’t wait to make her suffer.
Merry Christmas, I really like this comic
Protect John Allison at all costs!
(And Merry Christmas, and many thanks.)
Merry Christmas John! Thank you for this wonderful holiday treat! Happy 2021 when hopefully Billie and Maggie will get back at Tom somehow!
Merry Christmas, John! Thanks for this run of Steeple—I’ve enjoyed it a lot!
Thanks John! This has been great – loved every minute of it. Hope you have a few restful days off (but not too many!). All the best for a better new year.
So how did Maggie make both ends meet when she was a Satanist? Side hustle? Savings? Pirate gold?
And Merry Christmas, John!
She worked in the pub (see Steeple 1-5)
Merry Christmas, John! Thanks for keeling the great stories coming,
Happy Christmas, John and thank you so much for all the comics. They have been a much-needed source of joy throughout all this.
Merry Christmas to you to, John!
Merry Christmas John, thanks for all the adventures and laughs. Lord knows we need them!
Please survive, John. We would miss you!
Also, Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I got into your work in a big way this year after following a link posted by Kate Beaton. It’s been a delight. Thanks for doing what you do and bringing cheer into the world.
Merry Christmas and many thanks for your comics! They are always a delight!
At this point in the story, how long has it been since Billie joined the Church of Satan? That is to say, how long has she been telling herself “oh, I’m sure that first paycheck will be coming any week now”?
About a month.
Poor, poor Billie.
Wonderful! Merry Christmas and a Survivable New Year.
Tell your publisher I would have gladly paid for print editions of the last 2 Steeple stories!
Happy Christmas!
True evil isn’t a creature from the depths of the sea – it’s employers stealing wages and landlords asking for surprise rent.
Merry Christmas, John, and best wishes for 2021! Thank you for all the wonderful comics over the years, I look forward to seeing what happens next!
Partick Thistle Football Club.Yes.
You’re one of my favorite storytellers.
Merry Christmas, a Splendid Boxing Day, and a Superbly Survivable New Year!
Merry Christmas, John… I hope you survive.
(I realise there is probably no way to use that phrase that doesn’t come across as sinister, though I concede I could have tried a little harder.)
Thank you for the comics; they make life better.
Merry Christmas and thank you for all the comics! I don’t think you realise how important things like these are in these cruel and unusual times.
Happy Krimble and a joyous MacGowanmas to you. Thanks for all the great comics this year.
Happy Christmas everyone! And thank you Mr. Allison for the delightful comics as always!
Another great series of Steeple comics! I enjoyed this story so much.
Thank you, Mr. Allison. You brighten the earth.
Thank you, Mr. Allison, for making this horrible year just a tad more bearable. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and that you have the Happiest of New Years.
Merry Christmas and a brighter New Year. Thank you for the comics, John. They have been one of the few bright spots .
