Mrs Clovis certainly hands out a series of sick burns in today’s page. These burns need to get to hospital, they’re powerfully unwell. Poor Maggie!
The Silvery Moon
Everybody’s going to be cosplaying in Billie’s mad eye-cape. Even if it’s just in their own living rooms.

Today we remember Ringo Starr’s deeply non-U hit, “You’re Sixteen”. Appalling then, actionable now. Here’s the video.
My favourite detail of this comic is that, in panel 1, Brian has clearly bitten into the milk container in order to get a drink. I am delighted with myself.
Welcome to your new world of beast man comix. Hairy lads running riot. It’s the early 1970s all over again. Freak flags flying high.
Brian suddenly seems very spry. Maybe it’s just the thought of a delicious pint of mild that’s got him hot to trot.
The hipster witches, Ludmilla and Clothilde, originally appeared in Steeple #5 (this wolf-based encounter took place a year earlier), fixing Mrs Clovis’ vacuum cleaner to no good end. They’re a real impish pair.
A nine-panel grid, very trad. It’s nice to remember the old ways, the olden days. Please respect the difference between a door and a window, like our forefathers did.
