2 - Two Backs
Part 2 begins. And here’s another mystery for the Clotted Crime crew. But who are those women running the fruit and veg stall? They look famous! ITEM! Patreon subscribers ($3/mo and up) can read Clotted Crime pt 2 in its entirety here. ITEM! Colours for part 2 of Clotted Crime onward are by Sammy Borras. Sammy is a great colourist and illustrator whose efforts have saved me from, how can I put this… personal implosion.
I watched an episode of Wycliffe as research for these Clotted Crimes comics and the director was a “Ferdinand Fairfax”. He’s no longer with us, but in Steeple he lives on. Wise words from Maggie, and of course Billie, reliable as a Casio, ignores good sense completely. — COLOURS BY SAMMY BORRAS

Now THAT is a man who runs with his impulses. Someone asked about Billie’s spidery leggings in the comments, I figure they’re part of a set, purchased from a pricey callisthenics brand like Sweaty Betty or Lady Movements.

The mood in the Church of Satan seems quite convivial at the moment. And the night remains ripe with possibilities. — COLOURS BY SAMMY BORRAS
Reverend Penrose continues his diligent works around Tredregyn. I think his ramrod investigative approach may have been softened a little thanks to his run-in with Charlotte Grote. This is a new, more thoughtful Penrose. — COLOURS BY SAMMY BORRAS
